FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How are Ziva Naseer bags made?
Every Ziva bag is handcrafted from start to finish by skilled artisans in India. From welding the metal base to carefully laying each piece of mother of pearl, abalone shell, ceramic tile, and resin jewel tones, every detail is done by hand. Each bag is a work of art, made to last for years to come.
2. Where are your bags made?
Our bags are handmade in India by a small group of artisans who specialize in traditional mosaic craftsmanship. We are proud to honor and sustain this heritage through modern, statement-making designs.
3. How long does it take to make one bag?
On average, a Ziva bag takes 6–8 weeks from start to finish. Because every step is done by hand, from welding to embellishing, the process is time-intensive — and the result is a bag as unique as you are.
4. How do pre-orders work?
Pre-orders allow you to secure bags before they sell out. Your payment is processed at checkout, and your bag will ship on the estimated date listed on the product page and in your confirmation email. Pre-orders cannot be canceled once placed, but they are eligible for returns within our standard return policy.
5. Are Ziva bags heavy?
Surprisingly, no! Our bags are designed to be lightweight yet durable. Though they are made from metal and natural embellishments, they are carefully engineered to be comfortable for everyday wear.
6. Do you make larger bags?
Yes! While many of our styles are statement clutches and compact designs, we have introduced larger pieces such as the Poetic Ziva, Happy Ziva, and Spice bags. These can hold all phone sizes (including iPhone Pro and Androids) and more.
7. Are you carried in stores?
Currently, Ziva Naseer is available online and at select festivals, shows, and pop-up events. We are also preparing for expansion into luxury retailers — stay tuned for announcements!
8. My bag needs repair. What should I do?
We offer a repair service for Ziva Divas. If your bag needs repair, please email us at info@zivanaseer.com with photos of the damage. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions for sending your bag to our studio. Repairs typically take 7–14 business days.
